Los Jalapenos in Bend

We have been going to this restaurant for 20+ years. My siblings and I grew up swimming at Juniper Fitness just up the road, and then refueling with a big burrito. Great childhood memories! And we all turned out to be healthy and tall. My sister ended up going to Junior Olympics, and my brother was a QB, and I attribute it to Los Jalapenos nutrition 😂They have changed with the times in some way, but still have most of their OG menu. Keep up the great work, and delish food.

Such a great venue in such a little complex! The chicken tacos are a definite favorite. Smaller eating area than I expected but it makes it an extremely unique place. Outside eating is available too! The staff is awesome, helpful, and friendly. I'd say Los Jalapenos is the perfect place for a lowkey, authentic, meal. I'm looking forward to returning for a breakfast burrito sometime!

Great food killer service. A must see

This little gem was great and mostly what you look for in a Mexican restaurant. Authentic food and a fun menu. The beef is really good and local too. My wife had the nachos and I tried their enchiladas. I had one pork and one chicken. I tried the red salsa on top instead of the mole which comes with it because mole tends to be sweet and I’d rather tasty red tomato salsa. The house made red salsa was great! But it’s got a kick, so don’t get it if you’re not into the heat!The service is super friendly too, which always means a lot!

BOMB! Looks like a stomach ache but its freaking delicious. You want the red and green sauce with everything you order. Game changer here. Cokes with the real sugar in the bottle. If you haven't gone, go.

Consumer Beware.....We developed severe gastrointestinal issues since consuming food from this small mexican food restaurant. The food was tasteless and very slow to arrive to our table and later we were both very sick and definately suffered from the experience.We will never return and would not recommend this restaurant to others. We have shared our experience with family and friends.

Pretty sweet little Mexican place in Midtown. They've been around Bend forever so they're obviously doing something right. I always swing by when I'm looking for some quick delicious eats. It can get a little busy, but even when it is, the crew here is on top of it and will get you your food quick enough. Definitely a solid choice for the price point. Everything on the menu is legit.

I love there bomb burritos! I got the veggie with verde sauce. Fresh ingredients with an authentic atmosphere! If you’re feeling Mexican food try this place. I would suggest some product images posted on the wall and/or table tents so customer can see what tasty food they are ordering 😋.

Fun little hole-in-the-wall with great food! Indoor seating is VERY limited. Only good for groups in the good weather when the patio is open. Friendly staff and good quality of all your faves with a few fun twists on traditional mexican

Been coming here for almost 20 years. Never a bad day or burrito. Bean, rice and cheese burrito is the way to go, plain but simple. Delicious green and red sauce. I come back every time I visit my childhood home and parents in Bend.

Had the al pastor tacos and they were awesome. Happy hour margarita was good also and wasn't watered down at all. Prices are a little on the high side but it's Bend and people will pay it.

Had the chorizo breakfast burrito. Overall, pretty satisfied. The only changes I would make its crisp the hashbrowns and the outside. My wife had the spinach breakfast burrito. They forgot the spinach. But, overall, looking forward to coming back and trying out the rest of the menu.

Los Jalapenos is delicious. Their burritos were large enough for my wife and I to split one. I recommend the Gordo Burrito and chips and salsa.

Awesome breakfast carnitas burrito

Yeah, sure, it’s small/quaint and humble inside however, they have the most authentic tacos you’ll find in Bend. Hands down the best around. Ultra tasty traditional dishes and a hell of a Margarita! (like 7 different ones). This place is a gem.

Despite being small, this place packs some serious punch. Customer service is excellent, prices are very fair, the food is fast, and boy is it tasty. Had one of the best bean and cheese burritos I've ever had, and can't stop dreaming about it. Will definitely be back next time we're in Bend.

Took to long for them to make the food i have an hour lunch and had to eat at work. Will not go here again for lunch. The cooks do not wear anything to keep there hair out of the food, i watched my food being made and they don't use gloves at all grabbed my tortilla with bare hands....dirty, i threw my 10 dollar burrito in the trash. Good food, especially super nachos. They need to get new tables and chairs and paint the inside. The place is run down. I get that it’s mostly take out but still, they could make it look nicer without spending a lot. There are people who would like to eat inside, especially in the winter. Tourists would see this place as a dive and drive right by, not knowing they have excellent food.
